Great value restaurants in Haria

Haria has several restaurants all of which offer tasty good quality food at great value.

The local sociedad in the plaza “La Sociedad La Tegala” offers a great value menu available all day and well into the evening (closed Wednesdays). Prices for a typical Canarian stew start at around 5 euros, meat dishes cost around 10 euros, and fish of the day around 15 euros. These dishes can also be shared as the portion sizes are generous. The food is delicious and served in the comfortable dining room or on the outside terrace.

Next to the local council building is the Mercado Municipal de Abastos which is open during the day and has stalls selling fresh meat, fish, and vegetables. Here there is also a small dining area where food can be selected and cooked to order. Fresh rolls can also be made and filled with a selection of freshly cooked meats. There is also a choice of roast meats, paella, tortilla, fish , and salads. All food can be eaten in or taken away. Prices are kept low and the quality is very good.

For breakfast El Rincon de Quino in the plaza is an excellent choice. The range of coffee on offer is extensive starting at 1 euro. There is a choice toasties, baguettes, pastries, and filled croissants to choose from at very good prices. A lunch menu is also available. This bar is a great place to sit at any time of the day to watch village life pass by.
